The intake manifold itself (plastic) was redesigned, maybe by recall to have an aluminum crossover for the thermostat housing/cooling passage molded into the plastic manifold.  The old manifolds would crack at the thermostat housing area due to heat.

I like the option of a 5 speed with the SC models.  The IRS and the wider track did make these cars handle pretty good but they just feel cheaper made to me more than a foxbody.

Body/Appearance/Interior / Sagging doors?
The mn12 seemed to be built with pier materials compared to the foxbody.  Rocker panels, doors, suspension parts, odd offset rims etc. seems to me Ford was not very confident in keeping those cars around very long even though they built them from 89-97.

I believe those are rear shock locators for using fox mustang shocks on our cars.  The Mustang seem to have more performance shock selection.

Many members have used sn95 springs successfully (94-04) and spindles/axles and brakes to convert to 5 lug.  Have to do some changing around with master cylinders if going to rear disc brake but there is alot that can be done.

Engine Tech / T-Stat Housing
I hate these stupid Chinese made cast iron thermostat housings!  I would find a good used off ebay or from someone on this forum before using another one of those P.O.S.
