Suspension/Steering / Front LCA bushing replacement & LCA differences
The earlier control arms being shorter does end up pulling wider (like 9" or so) wheels inboard so they dont stick out past the fenders but the problem is the upper strut mount location has not changed, its still same as it was stock. So now you'd have the top of the tire tilted outward relative to the bottom or positive camber which is obviously no good.
I had Maximum Motorsports Tbird caster/camber plates ready to install but even after install and adjusting the plates for as much negative camber as they'd do, I still had a small amount of positive camber remaining. So I temporarily removed the plates, got out the shop vac and fired up the die grinder with carbide cutter bit installed and elongated the factory adjustment slots and the center hole on top of the strut towers. Got it smoothed, primed and painted the work, then reinstalled the MM plates. Now had as much negative camber as I would ever need for alignment and wheel/tire was sitting entirely inside fenders.
Think my front setup at the time was:
87 TC with stock Kmember
84 Tbird control arms with Sn95 balljoints and new bushings installed.
Stock TC swaybar with Energy bushings and endlinks
Koni adjustable struts with Max Motorsports Tbird caster/camber plates.
Eibach lowering springs for Sn95
Sn95 brakes/spindles/Cobra master cylinder and booster/ Steeda flex brake hoses
18x9.5 Steeda Ultralites with Nitto 295/35/18 tires all around

I will try very hard to reply in a calm and courteous manner here.
Thanks for reading this to the end.
I can certainly appreciate a calm and measured response, but in reading yours it quickly became obvious by the points you enumerated that you missed the point wholly.
One of the points being that what you took the time to write, cite or quote would be to some, as bad or worse than what you took exception to originally. I did not judge you. I judged what was written to be offensive and quite frankly, unneeded. Which it is. Not one thing in your response to me changes that. As a practicing Christian I dont see the need for it and since neither of us can know for certain whether kids, clergy or anyone else might be reading this, its probably a good idea to keep it clean if for nothing else for appearances sake.
Which brings us to the other point, appearances. In attempting to deflect and back pedal your way out of owning up to your error in judgement by trying to pull rank with age, history on the site, relationship with other poster, and other irrelevant mentions...you went out of your way to make yourself appear to be doubling down on poor judgement and self buttstuffysis of what you wrote. Not how I'd play it, but it is revealing.
ThunderbirdSport302 I appreciate your friendship with MY83T and the understanding you came to after apologizing, but I reference and read more than I comment on this board and simply dont think it helps the board or anyone here to make it offensive for readers to do that. For the same reasons you wouldnt tell MY83T that its a public board he can eitber deal with your remarks or leave..you should understand why I'd rather make it better for everybody. This goes double for the other poster commenting about drama. Grow up.

So let me get this straight. In order to make your point about taking offense to a religous slight... you then proceed to include not one but two "f"bombs AND a "gd" ??
Seriously???
You might want to consider how easily someone else might put your name in place of Mr. Johnsons in the last sentence you wrote above.
I smell a teachable moment. Take a refresher read on the definitions of hypocrisy, irony, graciousness, blasphemy and etiquette and then come back here. You'll know what to do.
