Drivetrain Tech / converting to floor shift
My 1988 car had a template already perforated on the floor. I did remove the stamped metal piece from the donor car, but it was clear as day where it went. 

I still have my parts car(with stamped metal part removed) If I can help anyway with the floor layout, let me know.

I'll have to look for you too. I thought, i purchased one out of an 86 to do the same thing. I know I never put it in my car, so it should still be around somewhere.
