I just got the gear today. I'll install it as soon as I can and report the results
'88 Sport--T-5,MGW shifter,Trick Flow R intake,Ed Curtis cam,Trick Flow heads,Scorpion rockers,75mm Accufab t-body,3G,mini starter,Taurus fan,BBK long tube headers,O/R H-Pipe, Flowamaster Super 44's, deep and deeper Cobra R wheels, Mass Air and 24's,8.8 with 3.73's,140 mph speedo,Mach 1 chin spoiler,SN-95 springs,CHE control arms,aluminum drive shaft and a lot more..

I've been running the auto trans 23 tooth gear Late Model Restoration sells for my Thunderbird for several years. It seems to be working fine. I'm probably going to go with the FRPP speedo recalibrator I linked in the future so I can run a 21 tooth gear.

It will. We have a VSS speedometer, like 94 and up Mustangs.

I'm running a 23t gear in mine with 3.73's.  Still reads about 4-5 mph too high but that's about as close as we can get with speedo gears.
88 XR7 5.0L low mileage Florida Cat.  AOD, 8.8, headers with x-pipe and flowmaster cat-back, 3.73's, lowered 1".  1 of 421 according to Marti Report.
