Need some pics of T-bird/cougar AODs

The TV cable mounting bracket I have is this:

The arm(on the same stud as gear selector) I have is this:

They will not reach each other and I'm thinking I need a different "arm".

Also I could use some pics of the column shift linkages.

I don't follow. I can tell you the top picture is exactly what you should have. At least that's exactly what my 87 Vic and the red car have. The lower pic might be an earlier style thing? What won't reach?

I feel like something from a floor shift car might be in the mix? I believe I've read people mention a "shift cable" as in the floor shifter uses a short cable that goes right to the Manual Valve arm, seeing as it is right next to the trans.

The top pic looks like what  my 88 column shifted bird had , the lower pic looks like a floor shifted lever because it's pointing downward instead of up
Fox-less at the moment
