Replaced the speakers, using stock HU and AMP

Turned out to sound  good! :D
I have a whole $50 in the speakers :headbang:

Nope. Just replaced the speakers. everything still ran by Original amp and head unit.

Turned out to work better then I expected it to.

I put some new Kenwoods in the doors, I need to do the front and rears also.

What sizes did you use in the dash, door, and rear deck?
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.

Dude, that is bad ass.  Did you have to drill ANY holes or cut ANY metal or was it all plug-and-play?  Do the door speakers protrude into the door panel grille or into the window track area?

The speakers I used fit like stock. On the door panels the mounting holes did not line up with the oe speakers, but a drill fixes that easy enough.

I have those pyles in my Pontiac  and I was suprised by how good they sound  .
