went to a local show and this was there  its got a 408 in it and the owner says he's doing high 11's low 12's . says he's having problems hooking up, plus its still street legal . :burnout:

sorry bout the pics just had my cell phone this wasnt even a plan stop just saw it stoped in but cars were leaving my luck get there late and had to rush through

That motor is CHOKING on that y little air filter...probably run mid-11's with the right one...lol.  That's pretty awesome though, I've seen articles about the 5.0 swaps into them...never saw a converted one in person...let alone someone silly enough to put a 408 in one.

Awesome car.I saw a company a few years back that sold a kit that made a small block ford 100% bolt in.What a sleeper.Sweeeet.

I"d rather not change the spark plugs by unbolting the engine, but I guess thats just me. I saw a video of a stock 5.0 out of a 87 mustang in one with a carb, and that little bugger moved. It was weird watching the weight transfer to the rear.

It can't be street legal it has a carb ;)
