Guess I'll print out the confirmation e-mail they sent me then....

I really enjoy this show, but the nickel and dime type penny pinching done over the past few years is a negative in an otherwise all positive experience.  Remember what used to come in that goodie bag you got 5 or 6 years ago?  Now think about last years bag....Quite a difference.

After months in the shop, I just got my car back last night, so I wasn't sure if I would be able to bring it. I'm still not sure, as there is still a vacuum problem affecting the A/C (I'll fiddle with it on Monday). It is possible to just bring the car on, say Saturday morning and register at the event?

Yep, sure can. I don't know if there is a cutoff time, probably noon-ish, but if you get there early enough there won't be a problem.

I just booked my hotel reservations.  The Ramada is booked out for the weekend, but the Comfort Inn on Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg has rooms available.

I just had to cancel my plans for Carlisle.  I had to bring my cat to the Vet today.  He apparently lost a fight the other night, and got an infection.  Now my Carlisle funds are gone.  I blame my cat.

Sounds good. It's two hours max to get there, and the way the weather is looking I'm planning to spend Saturday out there.

Not to hijack this thread but anyone going to Quarter Aces dragstrip Friday? If you are, I'll be running the staging lanes. Please stop by.

I'll be at Carlisle on Saturday. Won't be bringing my car. I'll be parking outside the gate and walking in.

V8 Demon, you bring the mustang? Please stop by and say hi. I know I will be busy but will at least say hi. My name is Larry.

I'm running trophy class. So someone will be filling in during my runs.

I'll look to see ya. I will most likely get there around 2:30pm.

Photos are a given:

Packed items include:
-Digital SLR camera and 4 lenses and 12 GB worth of memory cards
-Point &shoot camera with 4 GB memory
-The laptop -- free WiFi @ the hotel
-2 cloth fold up chairs -- the ones that fit in the bags
-SCT Xcal2
-Actron OBD-II scanner -- it's ObD-I compatible as well ;)
-(2) 5 gallon buckets full of cleaning supplies to include about 75 microfiber towels -- 50 or so are unused (the others are fresh from the dryer).  They may become profitable if it IS rainy.... Does $2/towel and $5 for 3 sound reasonable?  :D

Not to mention the suitcase with our clothing and toiletries.

I'm almost ready to go. Got the A/C in the '84 all charged up. With REAL R-12. Heh. I've got it to 42º out of the vents. :D

The convertible, I don't quite know yet. I've got a problem with a rear caliper (sticking?) that I'm going to explore in the morning. Otherwise it's ready to go as well.

We'll see everyone there. :)
