New Member Forum? March 11, 2006, 10:10:42 AM I was just wondering what you all would think of adding a new member forum. It seems we are attracting many new members and it might be nice to have a place for them to introduce themselves.Feel free to shoot me down on this if you think it is a stupid idea. Quote Selected

New Member Forum? Reply #3 – March 11, 2006, 02:24:44 PM And maybe a FAQ on the simpler things, like 5 lug conversion, 11" brakes, and that kinda stuff, but then again, there's always Coolcats.net and search and all....Somethin' like this may keep a future IGAH from "popping" up, lol Quote Selected
New Member Forum? Reply #4 – March 11, 2006, 05:08:44 PM I think the lounge does a great job of getting all these "getting to know you" threads. I don't see any need for it. Quote Selected

The "Greatest hits" section.I agree with Stuntmannick - the lounge is a good place for "getting to know you" threads. I know that myself personally I never bother with "new member" sections at other forums (like Cougarnuts) Quote Selected

You put up a new member forum and about half will use it. And those newbies will ask technicall question in it. Quote Selected
