Sorry but Iowa is a little too far for me to help, I got a 3 year old I play "daddy daycare" with since I'm unemployed and that keeps me tied down.

Check your fuseable links. If they get fried everything will work but the starter will not engage.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I would go over and give him a hand since I'm not too far but my cash flow isn't exactly up to par lately.....almost feel like it's my duty to help a fellow fox owner...

I don't think any things fried I just got this set of wires but it's off a 87 5.0 and I have a 88 3.8 so the engine connecters are diffrent but all the wires for under the dash that's connected to it are all the same as they were on the 88 3.8 set of wires that burned out so I'm either trying to connect the harnesses for the 3.8 onto the 5.0 wires so everything under the hood will just plug in but that isn't working to well or jus find the 88 3.8 complete harness I need

Look in your "wanted" ad, I think some people said they have them. 88bluebird has one from an 88 - exactly what you need man, just plug and play.
