Pershing Days car pics.
So little Laclede, Missouri is a town you'd miss if you blinked in passing, and it has no small history.

There's a yearly celebration in his honor and it has all sorts of attractions, car show, lawn mower drag races, dances, live music, bands, etc.
I did get down to the park but my camera ped the bed on me, so I just took a few phone pics.
The Nova is owned by the parents of a close friend, and David (owner) has also built a few other kickass cars. He also has a drag car, rumored to be capable of 9 second 1/4's.
And a local '93 Snake:
There were about 25 or so cars, but I only snapped the pertinent ones. There was a bad-to-the-bone '55 Chevy with a 16-71 Blown Rat...after I hear the guy fire it up as we were leaving, I really wished I'd taken pics of it too. Gotta love that blower whine..still have a chubby over that one lol.
