Lounge / Anybody ever ship a car cross-country?
Had a non-driving (roller) 66 Mustang shipped from San Francisco, Calif. to Akron, Ohio 2 months ago. Cost me $1000.00 . Had it been drivable, it was going to be $900. Those were the lowest of about 10 quotes I got. They picked up the car the day I agreed to the payment and 5 days later I had my car. Good experience.

T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / 88 T-Bird roller feeler- NOW WITH PICS *
Hey guys, haven't had my Bird long. In fact I just finished painting it grabber orange with black style boss stripes (not even back from being striped). Had a chance to buy my Father's 66 Mustang (California black plate) back from the person he sold it to back in 1968. Needless to say, I had to buy it. Well, not much room here so something has to go. The Mustang has a 200 straight 6 with a cracked head so I'm taking the engine and trans from the Bird to put in it. Bird has a 2.5" cowl hood, weld drag lite 4 lugs, like new BFG tires, no rust at all on the body, amateur paint job (doesn't look bad at all, but not "body shop"). 7.5 rear with a motorsport 3:73 Tracloc. Most of my $ was in the drive train so I will look at all offers, just want someone to finish what I thought might be a permanent fixture in my garage. Car is still dis-assembled from being painted.
Located in Akron, Ohio 44312. Here's a link to photobucket album...

Electrical Tech / Fuel sender question
Want to change my gauge cluster to aftermarket gauges. Anyone know what ohm fuel gauge I need for the stock sender in an 88 T-Bird Sport ?
I was thinking a 0-90 range. Please tell me if I,m wrong.
Thanks, Darrel

Drivetrain Tech / Anyone using a Hurst Quarter Stick ...

can the Quarter  Stick be used with the AOD Trans... I didn't see any options for it in the Hurst catalog...?

Don't know. Heck I don't even know if it's going to work in my Bird using the factory console. I'll let you know as soon as it gets here.

Here's another pic of the plate by itself...

WORKS WITH HURST 1/4 STICK, BM PRO STICK OR TCI OUTLAW SHIFTERS. ALLOWS MOUNTING OF THE SHIFTER WITHOUT CUTTING UP YOUR CONSOLE. MAY REQUIRE SOME NOTCHING OF THE FLOOR PAN. SHIFTER BOOT CAN EVEN BE REINSTALLED BY CUTTING SLIGHTLY.
