Rattle can jobs are great.  Once my friends and I blacked out a Cutlass Sierra he picked up for $100.

My car is a gravity hybrid.  The gasoline engine gets me up the hills, and gravity gets me down.

finally getting time to work on this thing lately  Got the entire underside, engine bay and lower bodyline/quarter fenders sandblasted in preparation for welding everything up (torque boxes and such) and fender widening.  Have to send off some pix of my wheels to weldcraft since I think I will leave that to the pros depending on price, lol.  On to some pics

Lots of holes

Before anyone asks - the front wheels are dads and have 315/35/17's on them

Only a few more patches/plugs and a bunch of grinding and this part will be done

I'm glad I'm finally done welding the torque boxes and undercoating  I dont remember going through as much trouble welding up my turbocoupe before.  This car must have really gotten an undercoating treatment because everywhere I welded was pretty clean, but as soon as it got hot, undercoating started coming out from underneath

I think I'm going to end up putting my 86 Tbird a-arms on to bring the tire in another inch from where its at now.  Only bad thing is weldcraft contacted me and pretty much told me they couldn't widen my wheels, so I guess I will end up widening them myself anyway

Got the rear axle back in.  Have to plan for the panhard bar and torque arm now.

So you're not running uppers? Are you going to use the mustang torque arm?
