o.K.,here we go......

-YES,there are matching tips on the right side as well as the left.
-The black body line trim will remain black with the chrome strip.
-The trim between the fender openings (front to back) will remain off.Only the leading edge fender trim, and rear fender trim will remain.
-The car was originally gold.It had a second coat of paint applied at some point in it's life without prep work, and a lot of it was peeking and flaking off.I've removed the entire second coat of paint.
-The sammich was roast beef on HomePride wheat bread.

Thanks for the compliments on the Sport.I got the doors finished today.More sanding after work tomorrow.I'm nearly ready.WOO-HOO !!!!!

Horseradish? We don't eat no stinkin' horseradish down here.

Oh,and the answer would be "No",I haven't sanded the door jambs yet. That's coming up Friday.....weather permitting.I'm getting the outside finished first.I still have to install the plugs for the tail lights so i can pull them and sand behind them as well.Easy stuff compared to all that's gone on with that car.Labor of love.

looking good man, took me 2 weeks to hand sand the '83, looks good, could've been better, my dumb fat ass cousin chipped the paint, decided she was gonna plop herself on the front of the car, shifted the unbolted hood and chipped the paint, wonder she didn't break the fiberglass header panel:flame:

Actually it feels so much better applying the paint yourself. God I love being a Body Man.

The engine is really dirty....which really hurts.I had that thing looking sweet for a long time. With the work going on and driving every day,no time to clean it up.After paint,I'll detail it really nice to it's former glory.Polished aluminum and all.

I dunno, seeing the car when I went to pick it up was pretty awesome, and all i had to do was pay and drive it home. (It didn't hurt that insurance paid for most of it either.) :hick: :giggle:

Oh, and what's estate green look like? I wonder how Sage Green would look a Thunderbird. I love that color on Mustangs.
