hesitation

Happens almost every time i hit the gas the car will hesistate nd make a loud poping noise then after a few pops it regains power as normal. ive replaced plugs and wires dont know what else to do. ps this has caused me to lose many races :giggle:
88 sport 308 e-303, ported e7's, cobra intake, cold air, under drive pulleys, full exhaust, t5, 373's, smog pump removed, 255 pump, pressure regulator.

timming, sounds like youre back firing or youre timming chain is skipping teath, check the firing order on youre plug wires
