I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

You must not've heard Steve & Laura's car at CJ this year then.  I was pleasantly surprised at how good a 2.3 with flowmasters could sound.

Nope, I'm with ya brian, I love the sound of a turbo 2.3, I mean you'd never guess by the fact that I have 2 ;)

And to really get all of you... my first hot rod will probably be a Ford Anglia with a built 2.3 turbo engine and a 5 speed and when it's done, I'll bring it to CJ for some fun

I love how my 2.3T sounds. It's loud as hell, but somehow avoids that raspy zing most 4bangers get with an opened up exhaust. No fart here, only a heavy roar. I'll try to throw an audio clip together.

Oh yeah, well, here's what I had at one point:

The 87 t/c is in too many pieces to be driven now :( (that would be the black 87, the gray 87 is a sport)
