Little orange nipple thing in the fuel pump hanger... June 18, 2012, 03:21:32 PM I was looking at my fuel pump and hanger today, and the little orange nipple thingy is torn almost all the way across. Will it cause any issues until I change it? Quote Selected

Little orange nipple thing in the fuel pump hanger... Reply #3 – June 18, 2012, 04:36:18 PM I think its purpose is to restrict flow to prevent fuel from being mixed up by fast return.(was going to say foaming but gas doesn't do that) Quote Selected

Little orange nipple thing in the fuel pump hanger... Reply #6 – June 19, 2012, 12:21:37 AM makes sense to me to have it installed, after all what happens when you hook a dc motor up backwards...?its a simple solution to a potential problem, its a one way check valve. Under normal cirspoogestances though, i would say a person "could" get away with not having it. Quote Selected
