OK folks,
Due to the "interest", I'm going to do a small run of 10 sets of the rear shock brackets.
There are a couple installed pics HERE (http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=9022&page=10), but this batch will be slightly different, but still function the same.
They will be $30/shipped in the US.
To order a set send me an email at cwarren@indy.net. Posting in this thread that you want a set does not constitute placing an order. Please be sure to include your shipping info in the email.
Payments aren't needed yet and I will contact folks about payment when I have a better ETA on the parts.
Thanks,
Chuck
I emailed you. Thanks!:D
Well I stopped by the laser-cutter for some other stuff today and I will have lasered parts early next week, so the turn around this time was pretty fast.

John

John
When's the next batch? I'd like a set.
OK, I'm going to do another batch of these.
Probably will be shipping the middle/end of Aug as I'm working them in with some motor mounts.
Pricing is $40/shipped this time around.
Email me if you want a set.

OK, I'm going to do another batch of these.
I'm ordering laser bits tomorrow.

cwarren@indy.net
sent you a email chuck
Talked to my laser cutter, should have parts from them next Fri, so welding will begin that weekend. Still have 10 sets available in this batch.
You got my email.... correct?
Chuck, sent you an email. Let know if you got it and what I need to do. Thanks...

Finally got the parts from the laser guy today. Put me a little behind, but I'll be welding this weekend and hopefully getting these to the plater before the holiday.
Sweet, I will send paypal later tonight. Thanks Chuck!
Parts are going to the platers Tues. I'm hoping to pick them up by next Fri and get them shipped out early the following week.
I still have several sets available.
chuck put me down for a set and pm me some instructions on $$.
Email me your shipping info (cwarren@indy.net)
I'll email you back with payment info
Chuck
These things are in my hands now and they will start shipping no later than this coming Mon.
How many do you have that are not spoken for?
I have not seen this asked before, will they still be required on an 8.8 from a Mustang swapped into an 85?
They are used when you are trying to use any Mustang shocks (which are shorter) on a Tbird/Cougar. The axle makes no difference, it depends on what shocks you are wanting to use.
I'll be boxing these up over the weekend. Still several sets available.
Paid orders shipped this morning.
Changed my mind Chuck, I will take a set but it needs to wait till this friday 12/7 as I have too much $ going out already this week.
Those Stang springs are just too low, I got stuck on a branch in the road yesterday, (about 3"-4" diameter and 1 foot long) and drug it about 50ft down the road, so I'm going to go back to the bird springs.
yea, yea.. you told me so! :flip:
I'll paypal ya friday
Still have quite a few sets available.
Would make a great stocking stuffer :hick:
I currently have a Mustang 7.5 under my project TC, and I'm considering using it until I get a better one built. I also plan on using 94-04 mustang lowering springs in the rear, Probably bite the bullet on CHE's or something similar. Would I still benefit using your shock adapters? Would the lowering of the rear eliminate the need?
Unless you plan on lowering the car 3", the Mustang shocks are going to be too short.
Sending you an email, looks like I'll buy a set.
All paid orders will be shipped by tomorrow if they haven't already.
Still have 3-4 sets available.
Id like another set Chuck. You want me to shoot you payment directly or do you want me to shoot you an email, then payment?
Shawn-
Don't know how I missed this yesterday. If you just want to shoot a payment that's fine. I have all of your info.
A couple sets still available.
These brackets are awesome. Very nice design. Your parts will be shipped tomorrow morning Chuck. I just got home a few minutes ago and opened my box. :D
I got mine last week Chuck. They look great. Now to get some shocks and control arms.
Cool.
Still have a couple sets.

Hey, Chuck,
Did you ever get a chance to fab more up?
As per the info listed HERE (http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showpost.php?p=213277&postcount=69)
I just picked up the lasered parts today. Have to get them welded and plated.
Awesome. I'll be picking up a couple sets. Thanks.
OK, I'm welding on these and by the time everything is set, these should be shipping by the end of the month.
Pricing is $43/shipped in the US. (Shipping to Canada will depend on how fast you want it).
Email me (cwarren@indy.net) if you want to order a set.
Chuck,I just have air shocks right now on my Sport. How will these help my car?Which year Stang shocks will I need?
How will they help?
They will just allow you to make use of more readily-available "performance" Mustang rear shocks as opposed to the non-existent ones for Tbirds.
79-04
Thanks a lot for the info.I never really watched this thread because I had no intentions of changing anything until now.I want a set,but will have to wait until I get a few of the more expensive things out of the way. It's painful trying to build this car.
These will be going to the plater's this week and able to shipped next week. Still a few sets available.
Picked up from the plater's this morning.
Getting boxed up over the weekend and shipping early next week.
A handful of sets still available.
4 or 5 sets available.
Sent you an email Chuck. I need some of those shock adapters. Thanks.

A couple sets still available.
just so I dont miss out on this, can you PM me your address?
How about you email me? (cwarren@indy.net)
I'll send you the info that way.
emailed
Money sent
One set available.
got mine in, amazing parts!! Thanks chuck!!
Received mine and while I won't get to it for awhile as I have relatively new shocks still, they look great. I figured I better get them now before I can't get them later!
Just thought I'd stop by and say thankyou. The adapters look and perform great. The plating on them is a nice touch. Something I wouldn't have taken the time to do if I welded up a set myself (which I was very close to doing). Thanks again.
Thanks guys.
Still one set remaining from this batch.
Stil one set left.
Still have one set sitting lonely in the box.
do you still have one set of rear shock adapter brackets?
Sorry. None at the moment.
when you make some more set i would be interesting in one set.
Chuck,I'll have a set when they are ready.Just let me know and I'll PayPal you asap.
me to see how soon you can have a set whipped up i need some
Robert
Hey Chuck, count me in for a set.
ill take a set also
Hey Chuck,are these coming soon?
If people start sending me emails (cwarren@indy.net) to confirm orders, I'll order parts on Mon.
Pricing this time around?
I'm in.
Same as last time, $43/shipped in the US
so do you have to pay for them in advanced or after you make the brackets?
I don't take advanced payments (unless folks want to), but I do ask for confirmed orders (thus the emails).
This batch will be powdercoated instead of plated as well.
hey chuck confirmation email sent
Ordered the parts this morning. Not sure of timeframe from the laser guy yet.
I will be sending emails out to those who have emailed me to get info, etc.
Well I'll have parts tomorrow so I can work on these. I have a BIG list of things to work on, so bear with me.
If you have emailed me to order, I will be getting back with you for order details.
Still have several sets available.
Chuck, do you still have any left?
Yes.
I have a grey set on hand, but need to coat more if folks want black.
Chuck, I have had a set of these for awhile now. I was wondering what you thought of running a coilover system with them? Safe or not? Thanks, Jim
They're more beefy than the stock mounting brackets. I don't really see an issue with it.
Sounds good. Leaves me some options.
thanks for the shock brackets chuck.
Looks like I'm going to need to order more parts and make some more of these.
I'll try and get my order off to my laser guy on Mon. I'm just busy as hell right now... I need to clone myself. :hick:
Watch this space for more details when I'll be closer to having them available.
OK, I will be sending 15 sets of these to the powdercoaters in the morning.
I will try and get back in touch with you if you had contacted me about them previously, but it may be best to just email me to confirm/place your order.
$47/shipped in the US.
Ill be ready when you are!
Picking them up from the powdercoater tomorrow.
Have 'em in my possession. A couple sets already shipped out.
Still have plenty available. Black powdercoat.
$47/shipped.
I'm going to be welding up a handful of sets of these in the near future. I know there has been some interest, but I'm not going to make a truckload of them, only to sit on them for 3+ years.
This current bunch will be still be $47/shipped in the US.
OK, well I'll be getting a handful of sets together. Ping me if interested.
Needing some soon. Will let you know.
So these are for installing Fox Mustang coilovers? I bought a set of your motor mounts a few years back when I installed a 5.0 into a 1994 S/C, they were awesome. I still have them but got rid of everything else. Anyways if that's what these are for I want a set for my 85 if you will still ship to Canada. Oh and I have no problem prepaying, I know the quality of your work and that your a stand up guy.
Mark
I'm in Chuck.
Primarily these are for using the shorter Mustang shocks on the rear of the TBirds/Cougars. They would work for coil-overs as well, however.
Chuck, I'll send funds next Thursday when my next car allowance show up.
Okay then I am in. I will be going away on vacation ( gone fishing ) for a couple of weeks soon so let me know when you want the funds as I do want a pair of these for my car.
OK, I'll be working on getting these things welded up this coming weekend. Only have 5 sets, and I think that's how many people have spoken up. Shoot me an email (cwarren@indy.net)...no PM's pls, if you want to confirm your interest. Going to try and get things to the powdercoater before the coming holiday.
Looks like I'll probably be dropping these off at the PC tomorrow.
Only have had 2 folks send me an email to confirm.
wish I had the extra cash I would get a set to put on the shelf for later lol
Parts at the powdercoaters.
Hi Chuck
i have a question, as lowered as your car is and with these brackets is it ok to run sn95 shocks or its better with fox units
thats the kind of stance im looking for so i was just wondering if sn95 shocks would have too much travel(if thats any bad) with a stance like yours plus the brackets also you confirm its ready to go with coilovers?
thanx Chuck
Good question. I have SN-95 springs out back as well.
SN-95 and Fox rear shocks are pretty much the same in regards to length/travel. Pick one, it doesn't matter.
They're fine to use with coil-overs as well.
OK. Still waiting to hear from the other folks who were interested in a set of these. Send me an email (cwarren@indy.net) to finalize your order.
Thanks.
I'll be able to pick up stuff from the powdercoater this week.
Sending payment Thursday !!!!
Payment sent, Chuck. Thanks a lot.
I've got the parts on hand, but I won't be messing with anything until Sunday at the earliest. After work today I'm heading out of town and tomorrow will be spent on a 160+ mile bike ride and then getting home.
I have 4 people who have appropriately responded and are waiting on invoices or shipping quotes (to Canada). I'll look into those details at some point on Sunday for you guys.
Thanks
Chuck
I don't need no steeenking invoice. Just ship them to me whenever is good for you. I'm not in any kind of hurry at all.. Thanks Chuck.
