i recently started using my Itouch thingy more and have been downloading all sorts of on it. i wanted to get that stuff off of it and save it to my computer(not like a backup) and wanted some advice on this from anyone who is more familiar with this stuff than i pretend to be. i am not mac(apple or whatever) savy in any way and to be honest i kinda hate it, but i got it for free so im sure as heck gonna use it. i tried a few alternates to itunes and found copytrans to be pretty decent and small but it has two issues im trying to work around.
issue one, inorder to use it i needed to dowload itunes to begin with, which i didnt want to do so i could get the drivers and such required to make it recognise the device. if anyone has any advice on one that i wont need to have itunes installed at all to make it work i would appreciate it.
issue two, i cannot pull photos FROM the Itouch and put them onto the computer with any of the alteratives i tried, or itunes for that matter. no way to access them or enable disk mode like on my shuffle. any help on this issue would be seriously compensated in the next life im sure. or this one if your lucky :P

I have a 1986 Ford TunderBrid im trying to sell for my cousion. It is a strictly stock car. It was ran a couple times and hes trying to get out of it. He ran it at Path valley speedway and Shippensbrug speedway. It comes with out the motor and tranny beacause he has alot of money in it. And just to let you know its sat up for carb. It don't have a full cage in it. It has a roll bar in it has a loop and two down bars in the back.Has a racing seat and racing seat belts.Has costum dash in it with Gauges. Has window net. Also has a roof sign on it and a grad rail on the driver side. Has a fuel cell in the trunk. Also has 3:73 posi. gears in the rear. Great Dirt track car or great for a full cage. Hes asking $1,500 for it or see what the best offer he can get. He also has a 1983 that he has striped out ready to put a roll bar and stuff in it probely would take $1,700 for both thanks for looking No check please!!! pick up only! No trades!
is there something different reguarding the lower metal portion of the windshield on 83-84 as opposed to 85-86 tbirds and cougars? at first i thought it was just me but every time i see an 83 or 84 tbird/cougar the lower metal portion is rusted and peeling while on 85 and 86 ones they never are, even when the body is rotted and obviously neglected. no matter how decent the condition of the 83-84 ones are that part of the car is always in some need of attention. i find it very hard to believe that a single year of exposure more could amount to that much more wear on it. :? ths has been picking at my brain for some time now and since im sitting here bored out of my goard i figure now is the time to ask.
1987 XR7 Cougar - New Tires, New Battery. Runs great. State emission and safety inspection good to go. Emission good until 2011. Equipped with CD Player/Stereo system. Powerful V8/5.0 Engine. Power seats, power windows, power mirrors, and electronic dash all in working order. Beautiful smoke-gray velour interior like new! Gear shifter is on the center console, not on the steering column. Very clean! Single owner and well cared for! The seller purchased this car from the show room in Alabama in 1987. It still gets good gas mileage for a V8. The electronic dash has always indicated between 22 and 32 MPG on the highway and 21 in city. Recent major work includes rear drive axle bearings and seals (both sides), power steering rack was replaced, inner/outer tie rods, brakes and rotors, head gaskets, water pump, oxygen sensors, rear exhaust, 2 new front tires. Even the door hinges were replaced (no sagging doors like most Cougars and Thunderbirds). It was never in any major accident. The plastic header panel was replaced once and never painted, but it blends in well with the blue exterior paint. All other panels are original. It was never hit and has absolutely no Bondo anywhere. It has a couple of small rust spots, but nothing serious. It could use a little LTC to be perfect. The hood is a little faded and there are a couple of minor rust spots. We hate to see it go, but it is not being used anymore and we would rather have somebody enjoy it. This car still has a lot of life left in it. If cared for, this car will only increase in value. We still have the original vehicle description with the VIN and sticker price from the original show room. Standard vehicle price $15,660 plus preferred equipment package and other options, total $17,830 at the time of purchase. Sold as is, from its current location. Buyer is responsible for pickup, or shipping/delivery fees. Please e-mail any questions about this car. If cared for, this Cougar will only increase in value, not decrease, especially because its interior is in excellent condition. The estimated value for this type of car can be found at NADA Guides, Vehicle Pricing & Information. Lowest retail value is listed at $1600, with high value at more than $4000.

I would keep it but lost my storage space and ran out of room
trying to grab stuff for the 86 before i bring it around here and seeing if anyone here has what im looking for. havent been to the junkyards lately but last time it was slim pickings so likely there nothing now.
anywho, i need an equalizer. the one in the car worked but would only work while holding the button down so i figured no big ill just fix it up to be on all the time. long story short i need another "working" one with the green display.
also, need a passenger side corner lens since clear tape is quite tacky looking in my opinion.
and lastly, a drivers side fender. the one on there has rust and damage and is missing the beltline trim thing on it.

1988 Ford Thunderbird 5.0 V8. Auto trans, power everything, sunroof. Needs some TLC, driver window doesnt work. New struts, new brakes, decent tires. Newer exhaust system, Runs and drives well.
this isnt really a problem, per say, but could fool someone into thinking it is something alot worse id imagine. while going over my recently purchased 86 thunderbird (3.8 v6)the other day and replacing the cut oil dipstick with a junkyard one. i now know why they cut it, at idle it makes a tapping noise when fully inserted. the noise is very similar to a valve tapping sound and when pulled out around a 1/4 inch or so the noise dissappears completely. the noise is gone when revved just above idle as well. when inserting the dipstick you can feel it snag the bend on the tube real good before it goes all the way down. i dove around into the archives last night searchng for somethng similar and didnt find anything relevant to this. inspecting the area around the dipstick tube didnt seem to turn up anything like a bent tube or rubbing against anything, the hanger for it is bolted securely to the block. the oil pan didnt look denteded or anything as well. nothing looks out of place and i cant for the life of me picture what the dipstick could be rapping against except the oil pickup, my books are in storage so i have no diagrams to graze over for possibilities.
ideas? the replacement dipstick is from the same year and motor and has the same part number on it.
