Engine Tech / Re: Build approval someone please!
Use the Explorer motor and ditch yours. I have an Explorer engine in my 88 Bird. You will need valve reliefs for those heads and an E303 cam. You will need to transfer the oilpan and other external pieces from your current engine to the Explorer engine, but a 5.0 is a 5.0.

Pretty much anything for a Fox Mustang will fit. I use the Saleen SC wheels. !7x10 rear, 17x8 front. Black with a polished lip. I never have liked black wheels before, but with my green car and all black trim and tinted windows, they fit the look of the car very well.

I have an 88 Turbo Coupe rear with discs in the back, The Cobra MC is because of the different bore. It was suggested to me to use by a more knowledgeable brake guy than myself. I have it on the bench waiting. No time yet to get to it.

That really does suck. I need a new windshield too. Mine has had a small rock chip in it since I got the car from the salvage yard years ago. I had it "repaired". It doesn't get bigger but it's still there. Time for a new one.

Parts are sold. Now to adjust the rockers and be done for a while.

Well, almost done, I have a solid steering shaft I want to install when the time allows and a replacement rear wheel as I rubbed mine on a curb a month ago. The wheel is waiting in the garage to be installed.
