5.0 Heads Swap

Need a liitle help.
I may be getting a 5.0 out of a 89 Crown to put in my mustang.
I have all the pieces from a 89 H.O. and just wondering if there is enough difference or worth the time to put the heads and intake from the H.O. on the Crown Vic motor. Any advice would be great.

yeah, you'll want to use the HO stuff on the CV engine...but you'll only be able to use a few different cams, unless you have the CV pistons fly-cut...
If you can get a set of HO pistons on the cheap..that'd be a good way to go, too...

everything should swap out fine. The bottem end minus pistons is identical.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
