IMHO, i think you should lose front and rear. on the fog lights, they dont match the headlights. if you could put rings around the headlights they'd match. how it sits? its your car, but i'd ditch the rings.
as for the rear... im sorry but that looks like something you get at walmart.
look at my sig, the car on the right? yeh it attracts ricers. im not talking about a person who is into imports, but someone that see's my fender flares, rims, lil bit of a drop, and they rev, they do all of it. it me off, when they start that i find the closest way to get away from them like a burger king or something.. oh and guys, do you realize the guys that rev at me the most are mustangs? its sad... i wish i could tell them that my other car is a fox too... im not into stickers or i would put that across the rear bumper lol.. my car is so small i may as well be a motorcycle. couple months ago this woman was talking on her cell phone, and the road is going from 2 lane to 1 lane... she turned to get in my lane when her nose was at MY nose. i had to take a couple deep breaths and count to 10 a couple times otherwise i would have followed her and beat the shiznit out of her SUV.

i was up in Salisbury NC, im pretty sure that when i found this site. well i needed something from walmart and it was pretty much just 2 streets i had to take to get there. theres a college riight there. well im in a 35, going 75, and i see 2 cops sitting facing window to window talking. i jumped on the brakes (he said he saw the front end dump, worn out OE struts!!) but here's where it gets stupid. instead of admitting defeat and pulling over, i stomped onto it, rolled through the intersection taking my left, punch it again, take a right to the street my apt was on and punched it.. i parked and i got out of the car as soon as the door closed they caught up with me. i got ticketed of course, im just surprised they didnt get me for felony evading... i was a step ahead of them, they saw me at the corners but only for a split second.. thats enough i would think for evading -facepalm-

all of the tools i own are in my trunk. im thinking about getting a chest for them... i have a tray for small stuff like fusses, wrenches, screw drivers, small stuff like that. the rest "float" around the recess in the miata. the worst part about it, if we use my tools he takes them thinking their his. his service van is like a toy box, "can i has army man?" my dad has an at least 4000lb toolbox. its a 3800 or whatever the biggest van gmc has (5500?). he couldnt shadow his tools. he'd get frustraited b/c he's got 2 trucks that need a repair and also has to do 3-5 PM's.. they're always on the opposite side of atlanta, so while he's in a hurry he would end up ripping the foam out cussin at it like a cheap prostitute.
im going to put it on craigs list tomorrow for 1200 OBO. see f i can get anyone to bite on it the way it sits. if not im going to try and get a battery and starter and check the wiring. im going to also look around for a ignition tumbler. im prolly looking at about $250 into it. so 750 out wouldnt be bad. so if i fix the car, and cant get 1500 OBO.. i might start tearing it down and put an add for parts here. i had a rought day today, headaches, anxiety. bleh. im ganna give it a good try.
im running the possibilities through my head. its a good motor, good trans, good rearend.. i have all the switches people would need to replace in most cases, almost mint. other than the regular plastics like the seat belt sheaths and 1 seat belt loophole on the seat, all is intact. i think i could even sell the carpet, its only worn where my foot rested on the trans tunnel. seats are clean and only the drivers seat is really worn. i feel like the car is worth like 1000-1500 in parts but it takes sooooooooooo long to get rid of it all. ive thought about listing it as a 302/aod donor car. i feel like i could sell the engine to someone for 350-500, the aod 200-300, 7.5 50-100... or 1000-1200 whole.. but debt collectors want money NOW. its in default and i need to throw something their way so i can get it freed up so i can get college grants. i call them asking how i could get out of it. they wanted me to settle for 5000. the grant i was denied was for OVER 5000. i almost called them up to ask if they would take it off default and i would pay them 3000 out of my grants but figured its either illegal and i'd prolly need the 5000 for classes, so i said fug it.
u-joints are cheap and easy to install. probably about $10 each and it might take an hour at the most to do the whole job.
har har, i've done this job. unless you have a u joint presser, it wont be an hour. if you go socket with a vice. plan the whole day and grab beer for when it gets late and your still busting knuckles and swearing.
yeh i second u joint. its definatly in drivetrain. are you feeling this in the shifter? the yoke might be getting pushed in and out harshly so watch out. a ujoint would cause the vibration and would cause acceloration problems as it goes with the shimmy. could it possibly be worn bushings for holding the rearend square and in place? all bearings have always turned into the sound of the flintstones car.
