Repaired header panel that some anonymous tool backed into.
You can still see the crack though the primer. Both the inside running lights got knocked out too. I decided to make the holes bigger and keep it that way for air intakes.
So here we go again. Remember back in 2008 when the housing market was all bubbled up and the economy was pretty good. Then gas prices started to rise and rise and rise. That was the begining of bad news. People stopped spending money on things they nomally would because they had to fill up the old Excursion or even worse Hummer. We thought it was bad then. Now the price of gas is heading for record prices again and the economy is still half way in the per. My daily driver is an F150 super crew with a 5.4L 3V that gets 13 MPG on average. So what's a blue collar bloke like myself to do to remedy this problem? Well the truck has been shelved and my Turbo Coupe is now my daily driver. I've been driving it daily for 2 weeks and I still have a half a tank of gas. After 2 weeks in the truck, it's time to fill up the 30 gallon tank at a cost of $130. Ain't no way I'm throwing away money like that. Not to mention I'm getting to work 10 minutes earlier.
I need the coolant lines, wastegate and oil drain line for a stock T3 T/C set up. I'm gonna get the T3/T4 out of my basp00get and on the car. Thanks for the help in advance.:D
That's right, like alot of people this time of year, I get really flippin' bored. So, I decided to have a go at using Window's Movie Maker. This is the end result, tell me what you think. Be gentle. Like I said, it's my first time.
Brown 4d car in sad shape. 200 straight 6. It does run, but rear wheel cylinders leak so can't be driven. The c5 trans was overhauled about 20k miles ago. I inherited it from my Grandfather and was gonna either put a small block and a cage in it or give it to my son for his first car. If anyone wants a fox body to use as a cheap race car, this fits the bill. Clean title and 10 hole wheels. $250
My 88 TC has an ignition break up problem above 11 pounds of boost. I have a boost control valve so I have set the boost at 10 psi and everything is normal. Timing is set at 12 degrees, plugs and wires are new. Dist cap looks good. Here's the kicker, if I shrink the plug gap below .030 and advance the timing, it runs good up to 15 psi or where ever it starts to detonate depending on air temp. I'm thinking a coil. Any suggestions would be appreiciated.
My first Turbo Coupe(the 86) was my second car in high school. My latest TC (the 88) I bought from a friend for a grand. He bought it from the original owner. The car sat in the owners yard for 8 years with a blowed engine.
Ok guys, I have seen alot of 5 lug conversions in your profiles. i 'm thinking about converting over just for the wheel selection. I need your input on the pros and cons of 5 lugging an 88 TC and your opinion on the wheels I like. Which ever wheels I choose will determine the lug total. Thanks for your help.
Have any of you seen the story in the news about the buried car? Tulsa, OK 1957. The residents buried a then new Plymouth Belvedere as a time capsule and would then retrieve it from it's tomb in 50 years, Tulsa's centenial. Well it's been 50 years and they dug up the car to find the concrete vault they thought was sealed, had leaked. The vault and car were full of water. If you are a fan of the movie Christine, You have to see this!
I'm pissed off that I must want for a new header panel. Some gutless prick backed into my car at work and just drove away. Locally would be ideal, Baltimore area. Thanks .
Hey ya'll. I'm going to put a clutch in soon w/new flywheel and bearing. Anyone found a good deal on a stout clutch set. Running a T3-T4, not stock ,need much grip. :burnout:
