Lounge / Why is it so quiet in here?
IMO, in addition to what was already said, is that most of us who remember these cars and want to own one, are probably at that age now where a mortgage and family are taking precedence.  Minivan anyone?  The rest are either into old ratrods, muscle cars, and/or the new fartcan Hondas.

Lounge / Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas everyone!

Got today and tomorrow off.  I can't complain, for we've been really busy most of 2012.  2013's schedule isn't letting up either.  Oh well, I'll take the OT over the alternative.  As they say, "Make hay while the sun shines"

User Rides / Havi's build thread of agonizing infinity
been awhile (again!) and now I have a free 351W block coming my way.  I'm considering going 393W stroker.
Engine will be carbed, and AOD will be used, using Lokar carb adapter.

Post edit:  I'm already talking myself out of the Clevor idea, lol.  I'll set the block in with the 400's heads to check for exhaust clearance and go from there.

I dunno, I could go either way.

Lounge / hey everyone
I assume your dad watched a lot of John Wayne movies back in the day, mine too.  No emotions ever shown.  Generational differences, I guess.  I suffer from it from time to time, it's like a lightswitch being flicked, no control of over it, know it's happening, but nothing can be done, but run its course.  My FB profile has shown it a couple times, and even deleted my first one cuz of it.  I've learned to recognize it, and that's the first step, but still learning the ways to minimize it.  Truly believe it's a chemical imbalance type thing, it certainly isn't something I seek out to do.  My job is stressful enough as it is, and sometimes the simplest things get me worked up, and the same things a couple weeks later won't phase me one bit.  Strange, I know.  Just need to keep the horse before the cart.

I'm right there with ya!  Good luck!!

Kinda doing a similar thing, at least getting the cart BEHIND the horse for once.
